Lodging Policies

We look forward to your stay with us.

However, prior to your stay at King Creek Lodge, we ask that you take a moment to review the following cottage and camping policies.

Cancellation Policy for Cottages & Camping

  • Check-in is at 3:00 PM. Check-out is at 10:00 AM.
  • Reservations are not guaranteed until deposit is received.  Deposits vary depending on type of rental.
  • Full payment is due at check-in for all services.
  • You are responsible for the full cost of all days of your reservation, regardless if you arrive late or leave early unless changes to your reservation are made 45 days prior to your arrival.
  • Deposits, less 20% administration fee, will be refunded only if reservation and cancellation is received 45 days prior to reservation arrival date.
  • No deposit will be refunded if reservation is cancelled less than 45 days prior to stay.  *We are a destination on Kentucky Lake, most of our reservations are months in advance.  Refunds to the guest will be refunded in 14 days or less.
  • If reservation is canceled less than 45 days prior to stay, the deposit may be applied to another stay in the same calendar year.  Deposit is forfeited after current calendar year if a new reservation is not made in that time frame.  Holiday weeks/weekends are not eligible for rescheduling.
  • Deposits for the weeks/weekends during the Fourth of July, Memorial Day and Labor Day are non-refundable and not able to be applied to another stay.  Deposit is forfeited.

Pet Policy

  • Pets welcome in Cottages 4, 6, and 8 only at $20 per night, per pet (*with limit of 2 per cottage).  Call us if your pets are over 50 lbs. Pets must be leashed at all times.
  • Pet must be registered during check-in.
  • Please pick up after your pet’s mess!  Poop not picked up will incur a $15 fee.  We have lots of doggie bags, please ask.
  • Pets must be on a leash at all times.  Leash maximum is 6 feet.
  • Pets are not allowed on the beach.  They may enter the water from the boat launch or shoreline.  We want to keep the beach as clean as possible.

Cottage Policies

  • Check-in is at 3:00 P.M.  Check-out is at 10:00 A.M.
  • If you have a late check-in, please see the front desk the following morning.
  • Extra guests charge – Over 4 – Adults: $15/day and $75/week per guest. Kids: $8/day and $50/week per guest. Extra guests under 3′ tall are free. (Maximum of 2)
  • 3-night minimum stay during June, July, and holidays.
  • Cottages and public areas are limited to paying guests ONLY.
  • Free basic Wi-Fi is available in each cottage
  • Television: Over-the-Air TV stations and streaming channels when available.
  • Cottage guests receive free use of paddle/row boats. First come first served, 1 hour of use at a time.
  • Cash Is King!  Get a 3% discount when paying in cash at check-in.
  • We gladly accept these other forms of payment:  Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex, cash or a personal check for services.  Checks only accepted for seasonal and yearly rentals. 
  • Rates reflect the base occupancy of each cabin.  Extra guests will be charged $15/day or adults or $75/week.  Extra children will be charged $8/day or $50/week.
  • All cabin interiors are non-smoking.  Guests are welcome to smoke on the open decks, screened porches or anywhere outside.  Cleaning fees for smoking indoors are significant with the minimum amount charge of $200.
  • A cleaning fee may be applied to Holiday bookings, disclosed at time of booking.
  • Maximum capacity includes both guests and day visitors, not to exceed cottage limit.
  • Housekeeping is your responsibility during your stay. We will provide fresh towels.
  • Linens are changed on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
  • Make sure all dishes are clean upon checkout. 
  • No grills or fish cookers on decks, screened-in porches or inside cabins.
  • All fish cleaning is to be done at the dock with fish waste returned to the lake.
  • No fish cleaning in cabins!
  • Pets in Cottages:  If it is determined that your pet(s) have been on the furniture or voided on the floors, an additional $100 cleaning fee will be added to your bill.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse service or lodging to anyone.
  • Quiet hours are between 11:00pm and 7:00am.
  • No firearms permitted in the grounds.
  • No fireworks are permitted on the grounds.
  • Customers are responsible for damage to resort property inflicted by themselves, and their guests or pets.
  • All rates subject to change without notice.
  • Underage children should be supervised by a parent at all times.
  • You are required to have a good time!
  • King Creek Cottages & Marina and its affiliates are not liable/responsible for fire, theft, accident(s), acts of God, or injury to guest and/or visitors or to guests’ and/or visitors’ belongings.  This also includes all land and water-based rentals.
  • Cottages are for paying guests only. All visitors to your cottage must stop and register at the office and pay a $3 visitor fee per person per day and be issued a car pass.
  • All guests are required to leave by 6:00PM or pay by 5:00PM as an overnight additional guest. Approval is based on cottage occupancy rate.

Campground Policies

  • We gladly accept these forms of payment:  Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex, cash or a personal check for services.  Checks only accepted for seasonal and yearly rentals.  A 2.75% processing fee will be incurred on all credit card transactions.
  • Rates reflect the base occupancy of each campsite. Base rates are for 2 adults and 2 kids.
  • Check-in time is 3:00 P.M. Check-out time is 10:00 A.M.
  • 3 Night minimum on holiday weekends.
  • Gas cans are not allowed to be brought in the campground or marina, no open gas cans on the grounds.
  • Children are not allowed at the marina unless accompanied by an adult.
  • Only street legal vehicles driven by licensed drivers are allowed on the grounds.
  • 1-2 Vehicles per camp site, all additional vehicles must be parked on designated areas.
  • Do not climb on or remove rocks from rap wall, It is there to hold banks in place.
  • All visitors to your campsite must stop and register at the office and pay a $20 visitor fee per car per day and be issued a car pass.
  • All visitors to your campsite must leave by 6:00 P.M.
  • Maximum number of guests to your campsite is 4 adults and 4 kids with up to two cars allowed for your guests.
  • Each extra guest will be $6 per day.
  • Quiet hours are between 11:00pm and 7:00am.
  • No firearms permitted in the grounds.
  • No fireworks are permitted on the grounds.
  • Customers are responsible for damage to resort property inflicted by themselves, and their guests or pets.
  • All rates subject to change without notice.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse service or lodging to anyone.
  • Underage children should be supervised by a parent at all times.
  • No display of signs attempting to sell RV’s, boats, goods or services, advertisement of such services or other distribution of written material without King Creek’s Management approval.
  • No washing vehicles, boats or campers on the grounds.
  • King Creek Campground & Marina and its affiliates are not liable/responsible for fire, theft, accident(s), acts of God, or injury to guest and/or visitors or to guests’ and/or visitors’ belongings.  This also includes all land and water-based rentals.
  • King Creek also reserves the right to terminate occupancy if guests or their pets act in a manner that is unacceptable to the management or other guests. Rain checks may be issued at King Creek’s discretion if cancellation is due to a family or medical emergency. Prices are subject to change and do not reflect state and local taxes.
